The World Museum is situated on the bank of the River Meuse, in the heart of Rotterdam’s historic shipping quarter. This iconic building dates from around 1851, and has served as an ethnographic museum since 1881. Since its opening, it has been bustling with activities.
It’s all on offer here: meetings against the backdrop of the Netherlands’ most impressive skyline, sipping cocktails on the quay, an inspirational museum visit by way of a break or a swinging celebration in a modern ballroom that exudes the grandeur of days gone by.
