Friends
Friends of the Wereldmuseum is a stichting, or Dutch-style non-profit organisation, with more than 250 private members who are closely involved with the Wereldmuseum.
The Wereldmuseum regularly organises interesting activities for Friends. You learn of these through a personal letter and from this website. Click here for more information about the special activities for Friends of the Wereldmuseum.

Being a Friend of the Wereldmuseum offers many advantages:
- Unlimited free admission to the special exhibitions, including audiotour
- 20% discount on all activities
- 20% discount on the Wereldmuseum's own catalogues
- 10% discount on the product line of the Wereldmuseum* on all other merchandise in the the museum shop*
- Free admission to our fellow museums: the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam and the Museum voor Volkenkunde in Leiden
* on purchases of up to € 250.
