Getting there
By public transport
From Rotterdam Central Station take Tram 7 in the direction of 'Willemsplein'. Get off at the last stop and walk back along the river. The Wereldmuseum is at the corner of Willemskade and Veerkade. You can also take Tram 8 or 20 to 'Vasteland', or Tram 23, Tram 25 or the metro to 'Leuvehaven'.
The public-transport travel information service will help you plan your route from home: telephone 0900-9292 or see www.9292.nl (in Dutch only).
By car
Follow the signs 'CENTRUM'. As you ride into the city centre, follow the parking route ('P-route') to the Erasmus Bridge area ('bestemmingsgebied Erasmusbrug'). This will bring you to the Erasmusbrug parking garage. From there, walk to the river. The Wereldmuseum is at the corner of Veerkade and Willemskade.
The streets around the museum offer a limited number of paid parking spaces. At an automat marked with a blue P, you can use a credit card or debit card to buy a parking ticket. After 6 pm parking is free on Parklaan and the surrounding streets. Routenet
